History[2][3]
After the repose of St. Seraphim, Fr. Herman was defrocked by Old ROCOR in 1988 when he failed to appear for a canonical trial. Fr. Herman, Fr. Damascene, the current abbot, and others left ROCOR for a vagante group under Metropolitan Pangratios Vrionis, a New Calendarist defrocked by GOARCH after gross criminal convictions.
The monastery later joined the ecumenist Patriarchate of Serbia.
