Saint Macarius of Ghent was an archbishop of Antioch who reposed while on pilgrimage to the monastery of St. Bavo in 1012 AD. He may also be referred to as being "of Antioch" in Western sources. The relics of St. Macarius are still, along with those of St. Bavo, with the Roman Catholics in Ghent.
