This needs much expansion. It needs to discuss and cross-reference things like purification-illumination-deification, toll-houses, baptism and the other sacraments, the status of catechumens, and the difference between final and particular Judgement along with the role of actions taken for the benefit of the dead after they are no longer able to repent in death.
