The Genuine Orthodox Church of Greece - Kyrikite Synod (Greek: Ἐκκλησία Γνησίων Ὀρθοδόξων Χριστιανῶν) is a Greek Orthodox Old Calendarist jurisdiction, which broke with the main body of the Matthewite Orthodox Church of Greece in 2003 after some under the leadership of Metropolitan Kirykos Kontogianni were opposed to the retirement of Archbishop Andreas Anestis as Primate of the Synod, which they claimed was due to outside influence. They see themselves as traditional Orthodox Christians upholding their faith against renovationist and ecumenist innovations.
