Kallistos (Ware) of Diokleia

Metropolitan Kallistos Ware was an ecumenist and titular metropolitan of the Ecumenical Patriarchate from the late 20th Century to early 21st Century. His books are also sometimes attributed to his name in the world, Timothy Ware. Of particular note is his book The Orthodox Church, often a staple of catechetical programs. Early editions of the work state far more traditional views on ecumenism and other Christian communions than later editions.
