Constantine the Great

Saint Constantine was the first unambiguously Christian emperor or Rome. He is particularly well known as the man who legalized Christianity throughout the Empire, convened the First Ecumenical Council to deal with the Arian crisis, and founded the new Eastern capital of Constantinople.
